The 2026 ICNZ Conference theme, Taking on Risk: Building Resilience Together, challenges all sectors to move from awareness to action in responding to New Zealand’s growing natural hazard risks.
It focussed on how homeowners, government, councils, the private sector, and communities can take concrete steps to reduce risk, strengthen resilience, and ensure that insurance remains accessible and sustainable in a changing climate.
